Full Time Care home manager with Strong experience in the improvement of care homes is required for a distinguished care home in Maidstone Kent that specializes in offering bespoke person-centered care for individuals living with Nursing and Residential Dementia needs on a permanent and short-term basis that Current CQC overall rating Requires improvement.

Job Description:

As the Care Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operation of theCentre, ensuring compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2010 and the policies and procedures set by the home and the company. You will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager and be responsible for maintaining high standards of professional nursing care, efficient resource utilization, and a homely atmosphere for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality individual client care as part of a multidisciplinary health and social care team.

Monitor and improve standards of client care using a Team or Key Worker approach.

Effectively communicate and collaborate with healthcare professionals and staff of all disciplines to ensure continuity of client care.

Assist in controlling and purchasing drugs, equipment, and dressings in the unit.

Foster effective communication among staff members to promote teamwork.

Recognize the need for staff development, contribute to staff meetings and training, motivate and appraise staff.

Lead recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of staff to minimize agency staff usage.

Maintain all necessary records as required by the Company and under the Health and Social Care Act 2010.

Evaluate and monitor cost control procedures and cost-effectiveness.

Manage staff allocation and coordinate leave to ensure adequate coverage.

Maximize client occupancy through personal interactions and introductions.

Maintain financial records as required by the Company or proprietors.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in care home management and improvement.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
